ICDC visit Silicon Valley

ICDC recently took part in a study tour of San Francisco and Silicon Valley in the USA, organised by Merseyside ICT. https://www.merseysideict.org.uk/home.aspx

The tour focused on the Digital Content Revolution and delegates had the opportunity to meet with key players in the field including Google, Yahoo, Ebay, Apple and Kleiner Perkins.

"Organizations in the league of Apple, Google and Ebay set the pace for everybody else so it was great to meet them face to face and ask one or two difficult questions" said Phil Blything, Commercial Manager at ICDC. "We have a much better picture now of where the next few years will take us, and hope to share a few insights at the next Liverpool Loop."

Tony Hughes, Assistant Director of ICDC commented "The delegation was made up of companies from Merseyside so there was a great opportunity for us to talk in more detail than we usually would. I'm sure we will be working with a number of these companies in the near future"
